Hello! My name is Alex Rogozin.
I came to Montgomery College in Fall 2020 to study Studio Arts and Graphic Design. Visual Arts have been my passion since my early childhood. My Autism means overcoming many obstacles and difficulties. My art is a way to express himself and to persevere. I use diverse media, from high contrast black and white ink drawings to experiments with richness of color palette.
In college, I have discovered my true calling: sequential art and animation, creating bold and dynamic characters. I'm dreaming about a career in Animation and I plan to transfer to an art school to continue my education.
In my spare time, I like drawing cartoons, lifting weights, playing video games, and hanging out with friends. I've been reading articles about how to make good character design, the principles of animation and how to engage the auditory. My style has been influenced by such cartoonists as Joe Murray and Chuck Jones, and such series as "Rocko's Modern Life" and others.
